To be honest, I don't have much to say about this trail. It was very similar to the Cold Brook Trail, as one might guess since they're only about two miles apart. We expected to see some wildlife this time around. The trailhead was very near where we had seen buffalo less than two hours earlier, and another couple just ahead of us on the trail said they saw an elk. We saw two rock pigeons, some crows, and a many more grasshoppers. How exciting! Being the positive person I am, I would like to point out the one good thing about this trail: it was more shaded than the first. We suggest you pass on this one.

This photo was taken from the Wind Cave Canyon Trailhead. The buffalo we saw on our way to Cold Brook Canyon were near the top of the hill to the left. Obviously, they were not headed our direction.
What a strange place for monkey bars. We were more in the mood for a slide.
